Retreats at Festa Kraftverk
A whole power station in the forest, by the river Driva in Oppdal, for your group: for yoga and breathwork, music, dialogue or simply time in nature. You bring the people and the practice, and we open the place.
The place
The machine hall: nine metres to the ceiling, room to move, play music or sit in a circle
Three floors with smaller rooms, among them a quiet room upstairs with a wood stove and wool curtains
A kitchen, the riverbank, the fire pit and the forest and mountains outside the door
A wood-fired sauna by the river, built in the summer of 2027
Sleeping
Two domes with room for two or three each, a micro house and a wagon. The rest of the group sleeps in their own tents among the trees.
Food
Seasonal meals from Storbuan Gård, made from their own farm, producers nearby and what is foraged in the forest. Or cook together in the kitchen.
When
Mainly in spring, and after Festafest in August. A retreat can also take place during the artist residency, so your group can meet the artists working here and take part.
